Registrations start today for new PeopleSoft exam! (1Z1-228)

Oracle University has launched a new PeopleSoft certification today with the release of exam 1Z1-228: "PeopleSoft Enterprise 9 Financial Management, General Ledger Certified Expert." This single exam is required to earn Oracle's new "PeopleSoft Enterprise 9 Financial Management, General Ledger Certified Expert" certification.

The "PeopleSoft Enterprise 9 Financial Management, General Ledger Certified Expert" certification endorses the key skills and knowledge required for functional implementers to successfully structure and implement PeopleSoft General Ledger to meet business requirements, and process, organize and report PeopleSoft General Ledger financial transactions, data and results.

Although not required, training is highly encouraged to ensure best success on the certification exam. Oracle University offers the PeopleSoft "General Ledger Rel 9" training course where implementers are taught using real-life examples and hands-on lab activities.

Registrations begin today for beta exam appointments that start Friday March 14, 2008. During this beta period, the exam may be taken for only $50 USD.

The Oracle R12 Financials Certified Expert Consultant, Payables certification can be earned by passing “Oracle EBS R12: E-Business Essentials” (exam 1Z1-204), Oracle EBS R12: General Ledger and Payables Fundamentals (exam 1Z1-215), and training in one of Oracle’s approved instructor-led online or in-class courses.

The Oracle R12 Financials Certified Expert Consultant, Receivables certification can be earned by passing “Oracle EBS R12: E-Business Essentials” (exam 1Z1-204), Oracle EBS R12: General Ledger and Receivables Fundamentals (exam 1Z1-216), and training in one of Oracle’s approved instructor-led online or in-class courses.
